You'll need a Windows/Linux PC or Raspberry Pi to run it. Mount the sensors on your TV or projector, slot in the 1TB game card, and you're good to go. Keep in mind — this isn't a plug-and-play console, it requires a computer to operate.
No. Our gun only works with Windows, Linux and Android OS. While it works perfectly on Steam Deck (in Desktop Mode), it is not compatible with PS5 or Xbox as these consoles do not support the external lightgun drivers required for our system.
100% yes. Our IR-based tech leaves all CRT limitations behind — it's fully compatible with LED, OLED, 4K displays, and projectors up to 150 inches. Screen size is no issue.
Classic light-gun games like Time Crisis use a 'cover' mechanic — you duck behind cover to reload and stay safe, then pop out to shoot. In the arcade, that was a foot pedal. On the RetroShot, that pedal is built right into the controller as a dedicated button. Press it to come out of cover and fire, release to duck back down. Exact same gameplay — just no pedal to trip over. It's all in your hand.
